HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
My style is a mix of photojournalism with fine-art portraiture. I prefer to take a fly-on-the-wall approach, to let moments unfold naturally in front of me and to interpret them like a storyteller. When the moment is right, I also love creating stylized portraits of the love-smitten couple. Combining those two approaches results in what I believe is a beautiful and honest document of the day.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
WE shoot with MULTIPLE Canon 5d mk IV cameras and use the following lenses: 50mm 1.2L, 35mm 1.4L, 85mm 1.2L, 24TSE, 24-70mm, AND 70-200mm.
DO YOU TAKE FAMILY PHOTOS ON A WEDDING DAY?
YES! Family photos are one of the most important things on a wedding day and WE always make sure to carve out time to capture them.
SHOULD WE DO AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
I love engagement sessions. Not only are they a chance for us to collaborate and create something authentic, they’re a chance for you to connect before the wedding, to get comfortable with each other in front of me and my camera so that when the big day arrives, you are comfortable, relaxed, and completely in the moment.
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Absolutely! bOYKO Photography is insured through Hill & Usher for liability coverage of up to $2,000,000. Let me know if your venue requires a certificate of insurance.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Definitely. If your wedding is less that 2 hours away from BINGHAMTON then WE wouldn’t typically charge anything additional, but if it’s further than that, WE would just need lodging accommodations and a travel fee WHICH WOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE PRICING.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE GET?
For an average 8-hour wedding, WE usually deliver between 500-700 fully-edited images.
WHEN DO WE GET OUR PICTURES?
WE typically send OUR couples a few epic previews a week after the wedding and the rest of the edited images will be delivered via digital download in 8-10 weeks.
HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU SHOOT PER YEAR?
WE limit OURSELVES to no more than 15 weddings per year PER A PHOTOGRAPHER. It is incredibly important to me to give all OUR clients OUR full attention, and to be fully dedicated to each and every wedding and keep things fresh and exciting for OURSELVES.
